Gutter Guard Installation in Comerio, PR

Gutter Guard Installation in Comerio, PR

Gutter guards cut down how often you climb a ladder, but the right guard depends on what falls on your roof. The three main types handle debris very differently.

• Mesh screens: perforated aluminum or plastic. Low cost, stops leaves, lets pine needles and seed pods through.
• Micro-mesh: a fine stainless steel screen over an aluminum frame. Stops needles, shingle grit and most seeds. Still needs a light brushing now and then.
• Reverse curve: a solid hood that water follows around a rounded nose into the gutter while leaves slide off. Works under broad-leaf trees. On steep roofs in heavy rain, water can shoot past the nose.

Before Comerio, PR Gutter Installation installs gutter guards in Comerio, PR, the crew cleans the gutters, flushes the downspouts and checks the pitch. A guard on a gutter that holds standing water just hides the problem. Micro-mesh guards usually slide under the first row of shingles or fasten to the drip edge. The crew sets them so water hits the screen, not the gap behind it.

Gutter guards are not maintenance-free. They turn a twice-a-year cleaning into an occasional rinse.
